Players can create and share custom content and add features to the game that allow players to tell a wider variety of stories. The Sims modding community has been able to address much of this. Apart from the base game, there are currently 34 DLCs for Sims 4, broken down by size and theme: 17 Stuff Packs, 8 Game Packs, and 9 Expansion Packs.
